Overview
Design work is all about teaming up. As freelancers we never know who we'll be working with and when clients reach out things are usually moving fast, so getting quickly on track is key. I'm good at finding relevant references to base the work on but not afraid to change things here and there, recipes are not meant to be strictly followed, at least not in design I think!

Projects
Alico Roviralta – Visual Artist
Alico Roviralta is a young Argentine artist living in Lisboa, Portugal. I was asked to design his new WordPress based website using Elementor's free Web Builder, with every page originally conceived and manually built to be visualized on desktop, tablet and mobile environments, making it 100% responsive. The site includes a Blog with short length posts showcasing his latest studies, research and works, plus an extended Bio page including a list of Shows and Artistic Projects indexed by year.
Guides Of Bhutan – Travel Agency
The website was originally conceived as an online faux publication ("Himalayan Herald") with articles and posts showcasing first hand stories of the different travel experiences offered by the company. The website also included a yearly event calendar, guidance notes, extensive travel information on Bhutan and contact information. Articles were also included in a monthly online and printed A4 newsletter. For the project I also designed business cards, A4 booklets with itineraries and additional information, visa application forms and custom illustrations.
Marcela Basterra – BA City's Council of the Magistrature
Marcela Basterra served as President of Buenos Aires' City's Council of the Magistrature in 2018. Her website was designed to showcase her personal information, CV and accolades, teaching activities, latest radio and television interviews, articles, published books and appearances. The site also features a compendium of her many articles indexed by theme, plus a categorized blog with short and mid length articles covering current affairs.
Built with Emil Olsson's Hi-Response Theme, a highly customizable and flexible WordPress template at the time, layouts were kept simple: four columns including cover images, titles and short paragraphs with body copy, plus a responsive two column version for tablet and mobile instances. Additionally, as a member of the Basterra Comms Unit I designed reports, flyers, banners, invitations, printed collateral for council events and branded materials for some of the council's city programs.
Web Centralization Monitor – Open Web Project
The Web Centralization Monitor is a research project advocating for a more open web. I've been asked to design and build a website for them and their latest platform, "Shark Patterns", an online observatory of Big Tech's illegal software practices. The website was programmed by a small local studio from the ground up and designed to include info and about pages for both projects, an indexed "Dictionary" of neologisms (Anchoring, Enveloping, Herding) plus a set of flashcards to help illustrate some of the more common malpractices. For the SP Twitter channel I designed branded graphics using an original custom-made variable pixel font. For the project I also designed long-read A4 PDF reports and 20x30 scientific posters including custom illustrations and infographics.
27 Caracteres – Student Type Foundry
The 27C website was designed to showcase typefaces made by students of the UBA's Masters in Type Design over the course of a two-year program. A Wordpress based 100% responsive 4 column layout page system includes layouts for each Project page, About Us and Manifesto pages, a Type-Tester page, Blog and Demo pages for one of the freely available fonts released at the time. Blog posts include images and short text.
Nima – 100% Organic Blankets from Perú
Nima Lanas's website serves as an online catalogue with added information on the project's social background.
Brocha Seca – Experimental Prints
Brocha Seca is an experimental print project led by art student Pedro Guerineau. The website was designed to showcase his designs, including Project and Contact Info pages, plus an Online Store. The site was set up with Wordpress' Elementor webpage builder to be 100% responsive. For this project I was also asked to design the logotype.
